I am the second Alex in the senior management team. After completing my doctorate in Bonn, where I devoted myself to algebraic topology, I started working in consulting and joined CALEO in 2013. In my free time, I like to get out into nature as often as possible on my racing bike or in running shoes - in summer in the Stuttgart "Ländle" and in winter in the Mediterranean climate of Gran Canaria.

I am Hanno and one of the co-founders of CALEO. I have a background in business administration, but I've always been interested in IT. I find the ideal balance to my rather sedentary job in mountaineering - in summer with rope and ice axe and in winter on skis in the nearby Alps. You can still find adventurous routes here where you can be on your own and leave everyday life behind you.

I'm Fabian and I've been with CALEO since 2011. As Managing Director, my focus is on training and knowledge management. I also work operationally in the areas of business intelligence, development, reporting and consolidation.

When I'm not looking after my children in my free time, I enjoy meeting up with friends and family, playing the guitar, reading, running and I've been a big "Die Ärzte" fan for decades.

After studying mechanical engineering, I initially joined a large consultancy. As a co-founder of CALEO, I was motivated by the prospect of being able to make a difference. In terms of content, my focus is on corporate reporting, where business management issues play a key role.

I find my balance to everyday working life in jogging. Occasionally I am also part of the CALEO Runners team at company runs. On family vacations, relaxing on the beach or working off energy while skiing is the order of the day.

My name is Alex and I am one of the founders of CALEO. My professional career after studying mathematics began as a consultant at Siemens. There I worked on a project together with Jan and Patrik. As we were a very good fit both professionally and personally, we came up with the idea of creating CALEO.

In my private life, I am part of a large family. With four children, there's always something going on - whether it's school, hobbies or leisure activities. There's never a dull moment with us!

How can I apply?

Can I send an unsolicited application?

We look forward to receiving your unsolicited application. You are welcome to send it by e-mail to recruiting@caleo.com.

How does the application process work? Once we have received your documents, we will get back to you as soon as possible. If we are impressed by your documents, the two-stage interview process will begin. The first interview takes place with a future colleague and Carolin from the recruiting team. If the first interview went well and we were able to convince you, a further interview will take place with a member of our management team. The interviews take place either via MS Teams or in our office in Gräfelfing.
I don't live in Munich. Do I have to move for CALEO? No, you don't have to live at our company location. Our employees live all over Germany. All CALEOs work in a hybrid working model, i.e. a mixture of mobile office and team weeks. In most cases, the division is 3 weeks mobile office and every 4 weeks a project week either in our office or at the customer's site.
Do I have to travel a lot as a Consultant? Travel has changed significantly in our industry due to coronavirus. We now have a 3:1 model. The project teams work in the mobile office for 3 weeks. In the 4th week, the project teams meet either in our office in Gräfelfing or on site at the customer's premises. Each team can decide for itself. Of course, the distribution can also change depending on the project. During the final phase of projects, for example, it can happen that we are on site at the customer's premises more often. However, this is generally discussed in the team at a very early stage and you can adjust accordingly. CALEO will of course cover the costs you incur when traveling.
How does onboarding work? Onboarding takes about 4-5 weeks. Each week is dedicated to a specific topic. You will get an insight into our SAP tools from the ground up, learn the SAP programming language (ABAP) and receive basic training on the business background. The training courses take place both remotely and on site. This is decided on an individual basis. After these first few weeks, you will join a project team and will be guided by the responsible project manager.
Is knowledge of SAP necessary? No, we do not require any knowledge of SAP. You will receive in-depth training in all areas of SAP that you will need with us.
How does CALEO deal with overtime? All full-time employees work 40 hours per week. In individual project phases, such as shortly before the go-live, it can of course happen that overtime is required. However, this should not be the rule. If overtime is worked, it can of course be compensated financially or through time off.
